Crafting East African Hospitality • Kampala, Uganda
"Food is not just sustenance. It is the first conversation a host has with a guest, the moment a stranger becomes welcome. To craft hospitality is to architect that conversation, plate by plate, season by season."
◆For more than two decades, Paul Kafali has been a quiet architect of East African hospitality. From kitchens in Kampala to executive chef stations in Dar es Salaam, from food and beverage leadership at Tansoma Hotel to consulting at Villagio Eco, his hands have shaped what travellers remember about a region. Trained in Catering and Hotel Management at YMCA Comprehensive Institute Kampala, fluent in five languages including the Kiswahili that opens kitchens across the continent, Paul brings master craftsmanship and management discipline to every hospitality team he joins.
