This is a small travel media project, run by a sovereign team out of Uganda. We document the people building this country's tourism future, in their voices, on the ground. So that the next visitor finds her way to the right lodge, the right guide, the right corner of this Pearl ~ with the right founder behind it.

◆ Where This Began ◆

The work started at POATE, the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo, where five of our college interns ran the Travel Portfolio Africa Internship Project. If they met you there, thank you for the time, we are still working through the names you shared. POATE was one room. The work reaches further.

Now, the larger room opens.
