Before We Meet
The quiet worries, gently answered.
Saying yes to being documented can stir a few quiet questions. That is only natural. So before we ever meet, let me answer the ones founders carry most often, plainly, and with nothing hidden.
Will this cost me anything?
Not a shilling. Your place among The First Thousand is an honour, never a purchase. There is nothing to buy to be documented, now or ever. This is a gift, given because your story deserves keeping.
Is there a catch, then?
None. I know how that sounds, an honour with no invoice behind it. But the reason is simple and true: the world is learning Africa right now, and we will not let her be told by anyone but her own. Documenting you is the mission itself, not a doorway into a sale.
What do I need to bring or prepare?
Nothing at all. No notes, no pitch, no polished version of yourself. The first conversation is short and unhurried, and we meet at the time that suits your life, not ours. The preparing and the shaping are our work to carry, not yours.
What happens to what I share?
Nothing without your blessing. You see your story before the world ever does, and not a word is published until you say yes. It remains yours, in your own voice, always.
What if I am not sure I belong here?
You do. If you have built something, carried people through something, or changed even one corner of your world for the better, you are exactly who this record was made to hold.
So let those worries rest. There is no invoice, no catch, and no version of you to rehearse. There is only a story worth keeping, and a hand extended to keep it.
Come exactly as you are. That is already enough.
